Any reference to the "Petroleum (Production) Act" in any licence, contract or agreement relating to the prospection, exploration and production of petroleum, to which the Government of Malta is a party, which was granted prior to the coming into force of this Act, shall continue to be governed and regulated in accordance with the Petroleum (Production) Act as it was in force prior to the Petroleum

(Production) (Amendment) Act.
