Where the person acquitted or the person arrested but not charged, as the case may be, fails to apply to a Magistrate as provided in articles 59 and 60, the Police may transfer anything as is mentioned in those articles to the Academy for Disciplined Forces established under Cap. 559 of the Laws of Malta, if the material is considered by the Police to have a didactic or experimental value.
