Subject to the provisions of this Act, a contribution paid prior to the 3rd day of April, 1978, by a non-employed person under the provisions of the National Insurance Act, as in force up to that date, shall be deemed, for the purposes of this Act, to be a contribution payable by a self-employed person who is not self-occupied.
