It shall be an offence against this Act for any person to -

(a) operate, promote, sell, or participate in, or in any way contravention of article 5: Provided that the liabilities and obligations of providers of information society services in connection with games shall be regulated by the provisions of articles 22 to 25 of the Electronic Commerce Act, and nothing in this article or in any other provision of this Act shall prejudice the operation of the said articles 22 to 25 of the Electronic Commerce Act.
