Cap. 442 чл. 18Use of the word "Co-operative".

(1) No person other than a society shall trade or carry on business or otherwise operate in any field under any name or title of which the word "Co-operative", "Coop", or any other abbreviation or derivative thereof, is a part, without the written authorisation of the Board.

(2) Every person who acts in contravention of the provisions of subarticle (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine (multa) not exceeding four hundred and sixty-five euro and eighty-seven cents (465.87) and in the case of a continuing offence to a further fine (multa) not exceeding twenty-three euro and twenty-nine cents (23.29) for each day on which the offence continues.
