(1) Upon granting accreditation to an organisation the central authority shall issue an Accreditation Certificate which shall be valid for a period of two years from date of issue.

(2) The certificate referred to in sub-article (1) may be renewed by the central authority if the accredited agency applies for renewal by not later than two months prior to the expiration of its accreditation and renewal shall only be granted if the accredited agency is still in compliance with articles 8 and 9. The decision of the central authority on the renewal of the accreditation certificate shall be served on the accredited agency, by registered mail, within thirty days from the application for renewal.
