(1) Unless stated otherwise at law, the Authority shall have the power to impose in respect of any person who infringes any provisions of this Act, of any regulations made thereunder, or of those provisions of the Utilities and Services (Regulation of Certain Works) Act which the Authority is empowered to enforce or who fails to comply with any directive, decision or order however so described given by the Authority, an administrative penalty using such procedures as may be established in this Act or regulations made thereunder.

(2) An administrative fine imposed under sub-article (1) shall not exceed one hundred thousand euro (€100,000) for each contravention or one thousand five hundred euro (€1,500) for each day of non-compliance, from the date of the decision of the Authority.
