The Director of Correctional Services shall record in an appropriate register the remission awarded to each offender. Such record shall be entered in the register at regular intervals of not more than one month. The Director of Correctional Services, following consultation with the Remission Board, shall communicate to each offender at reasonable intervals the amount of remission awarded to him.
