The European Union has acted swiftly to implement the sanctions by UNSC resolutions 1970 and 1973, including the designation of additional and entities in the EU autonomous list of persons and entities subject measures. The European Union stands ready to initiate and adopt including measures to ensure that oil and gas revenues do not reach regime. Member States will take similar proposals to the UNSC.
