(1) The making available on the market or putting into service of products covered by the Equipment and Protective

Systems intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres

Regulations, 2002, and which were placed on the market before the 20th April 2016 shall not be impeded.

(2) Certificates and decision by notified bodies issued under the Equipment and Protective Systems Intended For Use In Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations, 2002 shall be valid under these regulations.
