The National Supervisory Authority responsible for the safety oversight and certification of an air navigation service provider for the purposes of Regulation EC No 549/2004, and on the licensing of air traffic controllers for the purposes of Directive 2006/23/EC, shall be the Director, who shall also ensure the application of the requirements contained in ESARR 1 and ESARR 5.
