In these Regulations -

''juror'' means a person who is sworn in as a juror in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code and includes a foreman of jurors, a supplementary juror and a special juror sworn as aforesaid;

''registrar'' means the Registrar of the superior courts; ''day of service'' means a day during which a juror has given his services and includes a Saturday, Sunday or other public holiday when the jurors are not allowed to return home as provided in sub-article (2) of article 471 of the Criminal Code.
