Where leave as provided in the last preceding article is granted to either of the parties, the opposite party shall be entitled to file in reply another written pleading within a time equal to that which shall have been fixed by the court as aforesaid, to be reckoned from the day of the service of the written pleading for the filing of which the court shall have granted leave.
