Cap. 12 Art. 232Assessment of damages, etc., pending appeal. Liability for expenses in case of reversal of judgment.

It shall be lawful for the party in whose favour damages, interest, or fruits have been awarded, to proceed for the assessment thereof pending the appeal; but such party shall be liable for all expenses occasioned by such procedure in case the judgment appealed from is reversed.
