Cap. 234 Art. 371AAuthority to give notice of prisoners on board merchant ships to magistrate. 

Where the Authority has reason to believe that any person is being kept in custody on board any merchant ship in consequence of a sentence of a foreign tribunal, or in order to be tried in a foreign country, he shall forthwith give notice of the fact to a magistrate, who shall, without delay, inquire into the circumstances of the case, and make a report thereon to the President of Malta for the purposes of the provisions contained in the following articles.
