Cap. 249 Art. 8Construction of subsidiary legislation.

Where an Act, whether passed before or after the commencement of this Act, confers power to make, grant or issue any order, warrant, scheme, rules, regulations, bye-laws or other instrument, expressions used in any such instrument made after the commencement of this Act shall, unless the contrary intention appears, have the same respective meanings as in the Act conferring the power.
