Cap. 251 Art. 2Institution and motto.

(1) There shall be, and is hereby instituted a society of honour to be known as Ġieh ir-Repubblika, hereinafter referred to as Ix-Xirka or Xirka.

(2) The motto of the Xirka shall be "Għall-ġid tal-Maltin".
