With effect from the 1st of January 2024 and without prejudice to the provisions of this Act, it shall be the right of the parent to have a payment paid out once a year in accordance with the Fourteenth Schedule, in respect of every child who has passed his sixteenth (16th) birthday still living with his parents, and pursues post-secondary education in an educational institution recognised by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
