Cap. 352 Art. 25Indemnity where goods are claimed by more than one person.

Where -

(a) any goods or the proceeds of the sale or disposal of any goods are in the possession of the Authority or a contractor and such goods or proceeds are claimed by two or more persons; or

(b) any person claiming any goods in the possession of the Authority or of a contractor does not produce the documents, showing that he is entitled to take delivery thereof, the Authority or the contractor may withhold delivery of such goods or proceeds until the person appearing to the Authority or the contractor to be entitled thereto has given an indemnity to the satisfaction of the Authority and the contractor against the claims that may be advanced by any other person with respect to such goods or proceeds.
