The So`jetà Maltija tas-Salib l-A]mar - Malta Red Cross

Society (hereinafter in this Act referred to as the Society) whose statute is reproduced in the First Schedule to this Act is a voluntary aid society independent of and auxiliary to the public authorities in the humanitarian field on the basis of the First Geneva Convention of the 12th August, 1949 for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field.
