Cap. 363 Art. 13Councillor ceasing to be qualified to stand for Council.

(1) No councillor duly elected shall without his consent be transferred by Government or otherwise placed in a position which disqualifies him from holding the office of councillor, Mayor or Deputy Mayor.

(2) If a councillor ceases to be qualified by reason of any provision of this Act, he shall thereupon cease to be a member and the provisions of article 9 shall apply.
