Every person who imports or brings a motor vehicle into

Malta, every person residing in Malta who brings into Malta a motor vehicle from another Member State under a contract of lease or hire for a period which is subject to the payment of registration tax in terms of article 3(2) and every person who manufactures a motor vehicle in Malta shall, by not later than the first working day following the arrival of the motor vehicle into Malta or following its manufacture, give notice of such importation, bringing in or manufacture to the Authority in such manner as the Authority may from time to time direct, or as may be prescribed by regulations.
