Cap. 410 Art. 2Interpretation.

(1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires -"abduction" means the taking by force or the kidnapping of a person; "child" means a person under the age of sixteen years; "Malta" has the same meaning assigned to it by the Constitution;

"Minister" means the Minister responsible for justice.

(2) In the First and Second Schedules to this Act, if there is any conflict between the English and the Maltese texts, the English text shall prevail.
