Cap. 486 Art. 2Interpretation.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Authority" means the Authority for Transport in Malta as established under the Authority for Transport in Malta Act;

"CMR Convention" means the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) signed in Geneva on the 19th May, 1956 as amended by the CMR Protocol of Geneva signed on the 5th July, 1978; "prescribe" means prescribe by order or by regulations in accordance with this Act; "the Minister" means the Minister responsible for road transport.
