Cap. 518 Art. 15Offences relating to notification.

Whosoever -

(a) fails, without reasonable cause, to comply with articles 8(1), 9(1), 9(4)(b), 10(1), or 13(3)(b) or any requirement imposed by regulations made under article 11(1); or

(b) notifies to the police, in purported compliance with articles 8(1), 9(1) or 10(1) or any requirement imposed by regulations made under article 11(1), any information which he knows to be false, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to the punishment of imprisonment from three months to four years or to a fine (multa) of not less than one hundred euro (€100) and not more than one thousand euro (€1,000) or to both such fine and imprisonment.
