Cap. 601 Art. 27Unclaimed deposits.

Where, however, an amount deposited under the provisions of article 26 is left unclaimed for a period of thirty (30) years from the date of it being so deposited, it shall, unless otherwise provided by this Act or any other law, be transferred to the Consolidated Fund:

Provided that the Minister may, without further appropriation other than this Act, authorise the Accountant General to pay out of the Consolidated Fund at any time that amount to any person who establishes a claim thereto.
