Cap. 623 Art. 3General objectives.

(1) It shall be the duty of every person and entity, whether public or private, to execute works on a building according to best industry practices and set standards that also include the respect and protection of the environment and the immediate surroundings, its users and the public in general and this after taking into consideration the respective level of responsibility and obligations expected from the person and, or entity as the case may be.

(2) It is also essential that any building and construction works give due regard to and respect the principles of sustainability, structural integrity, their quality and energy efficiency at its inception, during construction and use.
