Cap. 626 Art. 13Employment of officers and employees of the Authority.

(1) Without prejudice to the other provisions of this

Act, the Authority shall appoint and employ, at such remuneration and upon such terms and conditions as it may establish, such officers and employees of the Authority as may from time to time be necessary for the due and efficient discharge of the functions of the Authority.

(2) The Chief Executive Officer shall be appointed for a period not exceeding three (3) years, and such period may be extended for further periods not exceeding three (3) years each:

Provided that until the first Chief Executive Officer is so appointed the Minister may for a period not exceeding six (6) months appoint an individual to perform the functions of Chief Executive Officer.
