Cap. 9 Art. 484Recommendatio n of accused to mercy of court.

Any juror may recommend to the mercy of the court the accused person found guilty, stating the reason for so doing; and the court may take into consideration any such recommendation, either in applying the law, or by communicating the same to the President of Malta in a report made for the purpose, or in any of the reports referred to in articles 493 and 494.
