S.L. 12.17 Art. 12Co-operation between the designated authority and the counterpartbodyin the home Member State and confidentiality.

(1) In order to facilitate the application of these regulations and to prevent these provisions from being misapplied for the sole purpose of circumventing the rules applicable in Malta, the designated and the counterpart authority and the counterpart body in the home Member State shall collaborate closely and afford each other mutual assistance.

(2) Both authorities mentioned in subregulation (1) shall preserve the confidentiality of the information they exchange. SCHEDULE
