S.L. 217.15 Art. 19Conditions of readmission of third-country nationals granted an EU Blue Card by Malta.

(1) The Principal Immigration Officer shall immediately readmit a third-country national holding an EU Blue Card issued by

Malta, and his family, without formalities, if such EU Blue Card holder, after having been refused the issue of an EU Blue Card by another Member State, was obliged to return to Malta.

(2) The provisions of sub-regulation (1) shall also apply if the EU Blue Card issued by Malta has expired or has been withdrawn, during the examination of the application by the second Member State.

(3) Upon readmission, the provisions of regulation 12 shall apply. HIGHLY QUALIFIED EMPLOYMENT [
