The provisions of the External Transactions Act, or any other enactment replacing that Act, shall not apply to any shipping organisation, in relation to any transaction connected with the ownership, operation, administration, management, purchase or financing of a tonnage tax ship, or any other shipping activity, or transaction ancillary thereto.
