S.L. 254.1 Art. 10Basic counter services.

Save as the Authority may otherwise direct, the basic counter services to be provided by the universal service provider or providers as the case may be throughout Malta shall include:

(a) sale of stamps and postal stationery;

(b) posting and collection of bulk mail;

(c) posting and collection of postal articles including parcels;

(d) registration and insurance of postal articles; and

(e) any other service as the Authority may from time to time by directive require the universal service provider or providers as the case may be to provide: Provided that before doing so the Authority shall first consult the universal service provider or providers as the case may be.
