(1) The final decision on surrender, including the appeal decision, if an appeal is lodged, shall be taken by the court within sixty

(60) days starting on the day when the person in respect of whom the

Part II warrant was issued was arrested.

(2) Where in exceptional circumstances the time limits set out in sub-article (1) cannot be observed, the central authority shall inform Eurojust, giving the reasons for the delay.
