S.L. 327.328 Art. 27Language of dissertations.

(1) Dissertations for all Postgraduate Awards shall be written in English, except that dissertations in areas of study involving a language may be written in that language.

(2) However, following approval by Senate, a Board may allow particular students, for just and sufficient reasons, to write their dissertation in any other language, provided that the Board has ascertained, to the satisfaction of Senate, that the University has the necessary expertise to supervise and examine the work. In such cases, students shall be required to include an Executive Summary of the work in English.
