S.L. 327.328 Art. 62Special provisions for part-time courses.

(1) A Board may, from time to time, offer students the opportunity to follow a Postgraduate Course on a part-time basis in areas of study which shall be indicated before the commencement of each course.

(2) The provisions of the foregoing regulations shall apply to courses followed on a part-time basis, and mutatis mutandis subject to such changes as may reasonably be deemed by the relevant Board as necessary due to the part-time nature of the course.

(3) Students may be allowed to follow a course on a part-time basis, in which case the time spent in part-time study shall, unless otherwise stated in the bye-laws for the course or unless in special circumstances specific arrangements are agreed in writing by the Board with the student, count as half that required in the case of full-time study.

(4) Full-time or part-time students who successfully complete the taught component of a programme, may be given the opportunity to change their mode of attendance before continuing with the research component.
