S.L. 327.354 Art. 2

The aims of the Centre shall be to promote South-South and North-South dialogue in the field of education, and through this to enhance the possibility of mutual understanding and co-operation among the people of the Mediterranean in the various spheres of life. In pursuit of these aims, the Centre shall:

(a) carry out and publish comparative and analytic research on the education systems of the Euro-Mediterranean region;

(b) act as a regional hub for the gathering and worldwide dissemination of data relevant to educational systems in the Euro-Mediterranean;

(c) offer research and training courses in educational development, solely or in partnership with other reputable foreign institutions of higher learning.
