S.L. 327.425 Art. 3Criteria for Selection

(1) Applicants for the Dental Hygiene area of study who satisfy the general and special course requirements as laid down in the bye-laws for the course shall be selected from amongst all eligible applicants according to the following categories, listed in order of preference:

1st Category: those with a pass or better in the Diploma in

Dental Surgery Assistance nd 2 Category: those with grades 'A' to 'E' in Biology at Advanced Level rd 3 Category: those with a grade 'A' in Biology at Intermediate Level 4th Category: those with a grade 'B' in Biology at Intermediate Level th 5 Category: those with a grade 'C' in Biology at Intermediate Level

(2) Applicants in possession of the General Entry Requirements may offer the pass in Biology either as part of the General Entry Requirements or in addition to the General Entry Requirements. BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (HONOURS) - B.Sc. (HONS) -DEGREE COURSE UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE 327.425 FACULTY OF DENTAL SURGERY

(3) When applicants present more than one pass in Biology, the best grade shall be taken into consideration.
