S.L. 327.529 Art. 8Attendance and assessment.

(1) Students may be barred from the assessment of a study-

unit due to unjustifiable absenteeism. Absences for study-units must be justified and approved by the Board of Studies.

(2) Results for the assessment of study-units shall be published as a percentage mark and grade as indicated in the table below:

Mark Range Grade 95% - 100% A+ 80% - 94% A

75% - 79% B+ 70% - 74% B 65% - 69% C+

55% - 64% C 50% - 54% D+ 45% - 49% D

0% - 44% F Both the percentage mark and the grade shall be recorded in the students’ academic record.

(3) Students who fail in the assessment of not more than one study-unit during the course shall be given the opportunity to re-sit the failed study-unit at the September examination session.

(4) Students who fail in more than one study-unit, or students who after re-assessment fail to obtain credit for the study-unit, shall be deemed to have failed the course.
