S.L. 35.13 Art. 2Fees.

(1) The Director of Agriculture and Fisheries shall charge, for the use of the facilities provided by his Department at the agricultural produce marketing centres at Malta and Gozo, a fee to be paid as follows:

(a) by purchasers, a fee of six cents (0.06) for every six euro and ninety-nine cents (6.99) of sales shown on any sales voucher;

(b) by the or co-operative societies acting as pitkali a fee of two cents for every six euros and pitkali, ninety-nine cents (6.99) on every voucher relative to sales carried out through such or such co-pitkal operative;

(c) by the farmers, a fee of six cents (0.06) for every six euro and ninety-nine cents (6.99) of sales shown on any farmer’s voucher.

(2) (a) In all the cases referred to in sub-regulation (1)(a) and (c), the minimum fee shall be six cents (0.06).

(b) In all the cases referred to in sub-regulation (1)(b), the minimum fee shall be two cents (0.02).
