Violence in the News 9.1 News Bulletins, like any other programming, fall under the requirements of family viewing and should be treated as such. However this should not restrict the range of different stories covered in any news bulletin or imply that some news events may not be properly and appropriately covered. 9.2 It is required that all news subjects are presented in a manner that takes account of the audience. In case of violent footage, the appropriate warnings are to be given well in advance.
