S.L. 363.179 Art. 2Interpretation. Cap. 363. Prohibition of confetti and other materials.

In these Bye-Laws, unless the context otherwise requires: "applicant" means the person who applies to the Local Council under the provisions of bye-law 3; "the Act" means the Local Government Act; "confetti" means small pieces of paper or other materials; "the Council" means the L-Imdina Local Council;

"other materials" means any substance of whatever form and nature. 3.1 Subject to any permit, authorization, or licence required under any law, no person shall throw confetti or other materials at an event taking place in the locality of L-Imdina without the written autorization of the Council.

3.2 Such authorization may be granted after a written application to the Council.
