In these Bye-Laws unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Act" means the Local Government Act;

"Council" means the Birżebbuġa Local Council;

"glass container" includes glass bottles, glasses and, or any other glass containers intended for the serving of any beverages;

"locality" means the locality of Birżebbuġa as delineated in the Act;

"public place" means all the streets including pavements, squares public gardens, and playing fields, but excluding coast and beaches within the Birżebbuġa locality.
