S.L. 37.5 Art. 31Due notice to be given.

Due notice of each transaction under a general bond shall be given to the Comptroller of Customs, who shall keep a register of such transactions, comparison being made by him, from time to time, of the liabilities incurred and the discharges therefrom, to see that the duty on the goods outstanding at no time exceeds the amount for which bond is given.
