S.L. 370.24 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Investment Services

Act (Alternative Investment Fund Manager) (Third Country) Regulations.

(2) These regulations transpose and implement, in part, the provisions of Article 4(1)(a) - (c), (h), (j),(i), (ii), (iv) and (v), (k), (l), (p), (q), (r), (w), (x), (z), (aa), (ab), (ag), (aj), (al) and (am), as well as Articles 34(1), Article 35(1) to (10), (15) and (17), Article 36(1) and (2), Article 37(1) to (13) and (19), Article 38(5) and (6), Article 39(1) to (9) and (11), Article 40(1) to (10), (15) and (17), Article 41(1) to (6), Article 42(1) and (2), Article 43, Article 45, 46(3), Article 50(4) [2nd and 3rd paragraph], Article 52(1), Article 66(3) and (4), Article 68(6), Annex III and Annex IV of the AIFM Directive, and they shall be interpreted and applied accordingly.

(3) These regulations shall come into force on such date as the Minister for Finance, the Economy and Investment may by notice in the Gazette establish.
