S.L. 427.14 Art. 14Safeguard clause.

Where, in the light of new information, the competent authority has justifiable reasons to consider that a substance, which has been accepted as satisfying the requirements of these regulations, nevertheless constitutes a danger for man or the environment, by reason of classification, packaging or labelling which is no longer appropriate, it may temporarily reclassify or, if necessary, prohibit the placing on the market of that substance or subject it to special conditions.
