(1) The penalties applicable for any infringement related to the provisions of regulation 4(1) shall be those provided for in Part IV of the Product Safety Act.

(2) The penalties applicable for any infringement related to registration, national type-approval and end-of-series vehicles, in accordance with regulation 4(2), shall be those provided for in the Authority for Transport in Malta Act.
