Where the checks referred to in regulation 13(2) show that the conditions laid down in regulation 10 are not satisfied, the

Director shall immediately destroy the non-compliant plant/s in situ or in a nearby location. That action shall be carried out taking all necessary precautions to avoid spreading of the specified organism, and any vectors carried by that plant/s, during and after removal.
