S.L. 437.100 Art. 10Submission of animal health certificates regarding importation of embryosfromthird countries.

(1) Importation of embryos shall only be authorised on submission of an animal health certificate drawn up and signed by an official veterinarian of the third country of collection. The certificate shall:

(a) be drawn up in at least the official language or languages of the Member State of destination and the official language or languages of the Member State of collection where the import control provided for in rule 12 has been carried out;

(b) be made out to a single consignee; and

(c) accompany the embryos in the original.

(2) The animal health certificate shall be on a form conforming to a specimen drawn up in accordance with the procedure laid down in the definition "Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health" or "the Committee" in rule 2(2).
