S.L. 437.109 Art. 19The use of swill.

(1) The use of swill originating from means of international transport, such as ships, land vehicles or aircraft, shall be prohibited for the feeding of poultry; such swill shall be collected and destroyed under official supervision.

(2) The use of swill other than as defined in sub-rule (1), or poultry scraps, may be authorised for the feeding of poultry only after a heat-treatment in appropriate facilities ensuring that the disease is not transmitted and the Newcastle disease virus is destroyed.
